Our Traveling Show...

We can come to your place!

Our theater troupe can travel to your school, camp or venue with our props, set pieces and costumes. Performances can be presented in gyms, cafeterias, amphitheaters or multi-purpose rooms! This show is suitable for children 3-8 years old and will last approximately 30-45 minutes. We will work with your schedule and consider any special needs. Kaleidoscope Theater charges $4.00 per child in addition to a flat traveling fee of $25.00. Minimum audience size is 25 children. You will receive a 10% discount if you book more than one show for your school, camp or business!

NOW PLAYING...

The Attack of the Ugg Bugs

 Written by Beth Martin
Based on the book "Tale of the Poisonous Yuck Bugs" by Aaron Reynolds

Look out, here come the Ugg Bugs! In this fun-filled production, audience members will learn a lesson about being kind and using encouraging words as they enter the Island of Nool. Jean and Spammy are the Ugg Bugs whose unkind words are making all the creatures on the island sick! They can't figure out why no one will stick around to play until they meet a special insect named Sunny, who brightens everyone's day!

Comments from Schools and the Community about our Traveling Shows:

Previous Shows:

"Too Much Noise"

"Thank you so much for coming to our school! We really did enjoy it and the teachers and students couldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the day! We were very impressed and hope to see you next school year! Thanks again!"

Christine Burkhart
Kindergarten Teacher
Brooks Museum Magnet Elementary School, Raleigh.

"Our Kindergarteners had a wonderful time with the Kaleidoscope Theater Company's production of "Too Much Noise!" They were eager to engage the students in fun sound effects and kept their attention (which is not always easy with that age group!) through laughter! Three Cheers for Kaleidoscope!"

Lara Thornton
Lead Kindergarten Teacher
Barwell Road Elementary

"The Elves and the Two Bakers"

"The staff/actors were wonderful to work with. They came in and set everything up themselves to make the room adaptable for their play. The show was very much on the preschool children's level with their acting. They kept the group entertained and looking forward to what was going to happen next"

Helen Hinton
Director - Soapstone Preschool, Raleigh.

"My class enjoyed the performance - especially the elf! It was age appropriate and intractive. A nice finishing touch was that the children were able to shake hands with the actors and ask questions. I'd love to have them back next year"

LuAnne Outlaw
Preschool Teacher (3yr olds)
North Raleigh Country Day School, Raleigh.
